Privacy policy

Effective date: July 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Hold’em Primer handles information when you use the app, its feedback form, and related support pages.

Information used by the app

Hold’em Primer processes the cards, player count, and other selections you enter to provide hand analysis and starting-hand comparisons. Core probability calculations are performed on your device.

Your poker cards and analysis results are not sent to the analytics service.

The app may write limited diagnostic events to Apple's unified logging system. These events can include a timestamp, analysis stage, player count, number of known cards, calculation duration, and error information. They are used to diagnose reliability and performance issues.

Optional usage analytics

Usage analytics are disabled by default. You can enable or disable them at any time in the app's settings.

When enabled, Hold’em Primer may collect:

  • A randomly generated installation identifier and session identifier
  • App version, build number, release channel, platform, and operating-system major version
  • App screens viewed
  • General analysis activity, such as the analysis stage, analysis mode, player-count range, completion status, and calculation-duration range
  • Paywall views and purchase-start events

Usage analytics do not include your name, email address, poker cards, or analysis results. The analytics information is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking and is not linked to an account or other directly identifying information.

Disabling usage analytics stops future analytics collection and removes pending analytics events stored on your device. You can use Delete Analytics Data in the app to request deletion of analytics information associated with the current installation.
